How I Help

Online Sessions

I offer online therapy sessions to anyone in need of support or who may wish to explore new opportunities both personally and/or professionally. If you need therapy sessions but feel you don’t have the time to travel or maybe feel anxious about accessing therapy, then we can explore options online and begin planning the best way forward for you. I will help you in getting the appropriate therapy from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Research has shown that online therapy can have the same positive outcomes for clients as attending face to face in the therapy room.  All you need is a private safe space (spare room, or even your car) and an internet connection.  Don't let the technology scare you.  It is simple to use and I can talk you through it. We can even do it using your phone, if you don't have access to a laptop.

Confidentiality is assured and I use Zoom, Teams or WhatsApp video platforms,  which are fully encrypted, secure and reliable. Should we encounter a dropped connection we can interchange between the platforms.

How do we begin?

You can have an initial consultation with me, where I can get to know more about you and learn about the struggles that you are going through. Then I will be able to offer you the counselling /therapy approach that will meet your needs.

The therapy process is tailored to YOUR personal needs. You will be treated as the unique individual you are. Confidentiality is assured. I follow the guidelines of the Accrediting body IACP. I work within their ethical guidelines, maintaining professionalism and boundaries. I work with Adults aged 18+.

The time and money you invest in yourself through counselling/therapy or coaching sessions is an investment in your future, your way of being, your SELF.

I am available to facilitate that Journey.

How many sessions will it take?

The average duration is about 6 to 8 sessions on average with CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy). Of course this can vary depending on the issues. Sometimes it can be shorter, sometimes it can extend longer. Normally after 6 to 8 weeks, there is a marked improvement. More complex cases may take longer.

How long does a session take?

A therapy session lasts between 50 minutes and an hour. On average this is carried out once a week but in a regular routine. An irregular routine is not recommended as it can affect the progress being made.

How much is the cost of a consultation?

Depending on your type of therapy, the price can vary. If you are choosing a therapeutic program, there are package options available on a fixed amount of sessions.
My normal rates are:
Individual Face to Face Sessions: €80
Online Sessions: €70

Payments can be made by Revolut or Bank Transfer.
